Incorporating User Preferences in Multi-objective Feature Selection in Software Product Lines Using Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis

Software Product Lines Engineering has created various tools that assist with the standardisation in design and implementation of clusters equivalent software systems an explicit representation variability choices form Feature Models, making selection most ideal product a Selection problem. With increase number properties, problem needs to be defined as multi-objective optimisation where objectives are considered independently one from another goal finding providing decision-makers large diverse set non-dominated solutions/products. Following optimisation, define their own (often complex) preferences on how does look like. Then, they select unique solution matches discard rest solutions—sometimes help some Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis technique. In this work, we study usability performance incorporating by carrying-out directly within chances more solutions match avoid wasting execution time searching for poor respect decision-makers’ preferences.
